Warren Alperstein Speaks with WYPR Regarding the Trial of Officer Caesar Goodson

Alperstein & Diener criminal defense attorney, Warren S. Alperstein, was recently quoted in WYPR regarding the trial of Officer Caesar Goodson. During the trial, the prosecution called recently acquitted Officer Edward Nero to the stand. Nero, who did not take the stand in his own trial, said he saw Freddie Gray being uncooperative and “passive aggressive” during his arrest.

Upon listening to testimony, Mr. Alperstein stated “I think the defense is going to have a very good persuasive closing argument, I’m not sure the state at this point has met its burden on any of the other charges.”
